You are only limited by your imagination. We'll make some happy little bushes here. We'll paint one happy little tree right here. There's nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend. The very fact that you're aware of suffering is enough reason to be overjoyed that you're alive and can experience it. I really recommend you use odorless thinner or your spouse is gonna run you right out into the yard and you'll be working by yourself.

With something so strong, a little bit can go a long way. You can create the world you want to see and be a part of. You have that power. Let's get wild today. Painting should do one thing. It should put happiness in your heart.

La- da- da- da- dah. Just be happy. They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes I put even numbers—just to upset the critics. It's hard to see things when you're too close. Take a step back and look. You can do anything your heart can imagine. Now we can begin working on lots of happy little things. Working it up and down, back and forth.

I want everbody to be happy. That's what it's all about. Every highlight needs it's own personal shadow. The least little bit can do so much. There's not a thing in the world wrong with washing your brush. Put your feelings into it, your heart, it's your world.

Only eight colors that you need. Maybe we got a few little happy bushes here, just covered with snow. I thought today we would make a happy little stream that's just running through the woods here. Steve wants reflections, so let's give him reflections. So often we avoid running water, and running water is a lot of fun. That's what makes life fun. That you can make these decisions. That you can create the world that you want. Everything's not great in life, but we can still find beauty in it.

Let's put some happy trees and bushes back in here. Anytime you learn something your time and energy are not wasted. Everyone needs a friend. Friends are the most valuable things in the world. Let's put a touch more of the magic here. Fluff that up. We're not trying to teach you a thing to copy. We're just here to teach you a technique, then let you loose into the world. Now, we're going to fluff this cloud.

Paint anything you want on the canvas. Create your own world. Let your imagination be your guide. Use your imagination, let it go. Don't hurry. Take your time and enjoy. This is unplanned it really just happens. You want your tree to have some character. Make it special.

For the lack of a better word I call them hangy downs. Put it in, leave it alone. Everybody needs a friend. Clouds are free they come and go as they please. See there how easy that is.

Just relax and let it flow. That easy. No pressure. Just relax and watch it happen. Fluff it up a little and hypnotize it.

You have to make these big decisions. Just go out and talk to a tree. Make friends with it. We don't have to be concerned about it. We just have to let it fall where it will. We must be quiet, soft and gentle.

Don't forget to tell these special people in your life just how special they are to you. Let's have a nice tree right here. You have freedom here. The only guide is your heart. This is your world, whatever makes you happy you can put in it. Go crazy. Everyone wants to enjoy the good parts - but you have to build the framework first.

You can work and carry-on and put lots of little happy things in here. You can't have light without dark. You can't know happiness unless you've known sorrow. Let your heart be your guide. Brown is such a nice color.

You can spend all day playing with mountains. Trees live in your fan brush, but you have to scare them out. Let's have a little bit of fun today. See how easy it is to create a little tree right in your world.

Tree trunks grow however makes them happy. Use absolutely no pressure. Just like an angel's wing. There isn't a rule. You just practice and find out which way works best for you. Nice little fluffy clouds laying around in the sky being lazy.

This painting comes right out of your heart. A happy cloud. Think about a cloud. Just float around and be there. Go out on a limb - that's where the fruit is. God gave you this gift of imagination. Use it. If you hypnotize it, it will go away. Learn when to stop.

Maybe there's a happy little bush that lives right there. It just happens - whether or not you worried about it or tried to plan it. And I know you're saying, 'Oh Bob, you've done it this time.' And you may be right. See. We take the corner of the brush and let it play back-and-forth. It's a super day, so why not make a beautiful sky? If I paint something, I don't want to have to explain what it is.

Sometimes you learn more from your mistakes than you do from your masterpieces. All you need to paint is a few tools, a little instruction, and a vision in your mind. That's a son of a gun of a cloud. The first step to doing anything is to believe you can do it. See it finished in your mind before you ever start.

Automatically, all of these beautiful, beautiful things will happen. Use what happens naturally, don't fight it. You can create beautiful things - but you have to see them in your mind first. That's crazy. Put light against light - you have nothing. Put dark against dark - you have nothing. It's the contrast of light and dark that each give the other one meaning. The little tiny Tim easels will let you down. Look around, look at what we have. Beauty is everywhere, you only have to look to see it.

Happy painting, God bless. The shadows are just like the highlights, but we're going in the opposite direction. As trees get older they lose their chlorophyll. Now we don't want him to get lonely, so we'll give him a little friend. Let your heart take you to wherever you want to be.

Life is too short to be alone, too precious. Share it with a friend. Everybody's different. Trees are different. Let them all be individuals. I spend a lot of time walking around in the woods and talking to trees, and squirrels, and little rabbits and stuff. Talent is a pursued interest. That is to say, anything you practice you can do. Anything you want to do you can do here. Isn't that fantastic? You can just push a little tree out of your brush like that. That's what painting is all about. It should make you feel good when you paint.

This is an example of what you can do with just a few things, a little imagination and a happy dream in your heart. These little son of a guns hide in your brush and you just have to push them out. Just think about these things in your mind and drop em' on canvas. I started painting as a hobby when I was little. I didn't know I had any talent. I believe talent is just a pursued interest. Anybody can do what I do. If what you're doing doesn't make you happy - you're doing the wrong thing. Isn't that fantastic?
